Ryan Wallace, AGNP

Ryan Wallace is a board-certified Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner specializing in trauma surgery. He holds a Master of Science degree from Western Connecticut State University and has dedicated his career to providing exceptional healthcare to the Hudson Valley community.

Ryan began his healthcare journey in 1998 as an Emergency Medical Services provider, where he developed a strong foundation in patient care. He transitioned to nursing, becoming a Registered Nurse in 2011. In 2021, he further advanced his career by becoming a Nurse Practitioner, focusing in adult health. 

He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the New York State Nurse Practitioner Association.

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I am dedicated to providing care to the whole person, partnering with them to understand their health and reach their health goals. 

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
My patients should expect clear and honest communication; this in  return helps us to partner to reach their health goals. 

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
Spend time with my family and attending concerts.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I feel very rewarded helping patients and their families navigate challenging circumstances-- they deserve to be heard and to feel supported.
