What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I strive to communicate clearly and try to build a strong relationship with my patients.
How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I enjoy a variety of sports including swimming, cycling and a mediocre game of golf.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose gastroenterology because I enjoy both the personal and technical aspects of daily practice.

He has been my (and my wife's) GE physician for more than 20 years. Of the many physicians of all sorts that I have seen over the past 70 years, Dr. Estabrook is the best at establishing a close rapport, at making a patient feel comfortable, and at communicating information.
