Sherry Reyes, MD

Dr. Sherry Reyes is a family physician, board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Reyes provides primary care to children and adults of all ages with acute and/or chronic conditions. She has a passion for preventative medicine, evidence-based medicine, and helping patients achieve their health and life goals. She is warm, caring, compassionate and welcoming to all of her patients. In her free time, you can find her exploring hiking trails, running or trying new restaurants/foods.

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I have a positive attitude, am compassionate, and always do my best in everything I do. I am a strong believer in evidence-based medicine, individualized care, preventative medicine, and inspiring healthy habits.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I hope to provide comprehensive care, follow-up care, counseling, and education to help patients gain the knowledge to make informed decisions about their health. I hope that the relationships I build with my patients will be a collaborative relationship to help patients meet their health goals. I expect my patients to be engaged in their health, have mutual respect and be proactive to achieve their health and life goals.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
Exercising, exploring the outdoors, watching movies and trying new restaurants.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
There are many aspects of family medicine I find appealing, with the number one reason being the ability to give continuity of care throughout a patient’s lifetime, all while building a relationship and trust. I chose primary care because of my passion for preventative medicine.
