Shy'na Foster, a Family Nurse Practitioner, is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Patients can expect honest evidence-based, patient-based care from their professional relationship with me. I expect patients to be actively involved in their care when possible.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I spend my personal time with family and friends.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose my current specialty because as a bedside RN, I fell in love with Cardiology. In this specialty, I am able to witness the results of treatment almost instantly.
