Sol A. Lee, MD

Harvard trained, Dr. Lee is board certified in both general and child and adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She takes a conservative team approach in providing the best evidence-based care possible to her patients, while taking genuine interest in who they are as a person. She works with the patient and family to optimize not only mental health, but also the whole development of the individual. Her areas of expertise include management of anxiety disorders, mood disorders and ADHD. Dr. Lee prides herself in making people feel welcome and creating a safe space in which to grow and discover strengths as well as work on target goals. In her free time, Dr. Lee enjoys traveling with her family, hiking, playing various instruments, baking and creating.

I use evidence-based approaches to treatment incorporating this into a team-based care for patients and their families.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Openness and honesty works best as a two-way street between a patient and doctor so that the patient's goals are optimized.

How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I love to travel the world with my family. I love being creative and being outdoors.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose psychiatry because it enables me to get to know patients' deeply and develop meaningful and impactful relationships with them.
