Her philosophy in medicine is forming long-lasting strong relationships with her patients and helping them to achieve their health goals.  She is originally from Jamaica and has lived in the Hudson Valley area for many years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, dancing and watching movies.

I am patient, a good listener and treat every patient as I would want to be treated. My goal as your physician is to provide competent, respectful and compassionate care.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them? 
Patients should expect trust, nonjudgmental, respectful and competent care. I expect my patients to be proactive in their health and be open and honest about their needs and expectations.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
Spending time with friends and family, listening to music and dancing.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose Family Medicine because it allows me to build long-lasting relationships with the ‘ whole” patient addressing both medical and psychosocial issues that play a role in how each patient manages their overall health. My focus in Obesity medicine is driven by the chronicity of Obesity and resultant comorbid conditions which can be mitigated with current treatment modalities and provide patients with better quality of life and health outcomes. The greatest reward is seeing patients become ambassadors of their health and adopt lifestyle changes that improve their overall health and well-being.
