What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
They should expect me to be thorough, professional, and comforting. Patients should expect compassion, rather than empathy. I don't have any set expectations of my patients - all humans are entitled to their own life choices.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I enjoy exercising, reading and family time. 

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I fell into this profession by way of active recruitment from a cherished mentor - it has suited me very well. This is the greatest profession - challenging, ever-changing, high amount of social interaction, making a difference seen and unseen in many people's lives.
