Get To Know Me
Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I am experienced in the full continuum of healthcare from having worked on labor and delivery, to hospice care and much more in between. I bring a widely varied background to my practice and being a cancer survivor myself, I have a unique perspective from a patient’s point of view that can enhance the care I provide. I strive to establish a strong collaborative atmosphere between my patients and myself to form the best possible outcomes.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Patients will have an enthusiastic advocate in me for their wellness and healthcare needs. I ask for participation in our mutually formed collaboration as well as in the patient’s self-care.
How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
Recreation for me includes being outdoors in all our seasons, spending time with family, friends, dogs and reading.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Caring for people from adolescents to centenarians and everyone in between allows me to care for patients throughout their lifespan, during all its ups and downs. Helping people understand their health and well-being and achieving their goals is the greatest gift.
