Susan Le is a physician assistant, certified by The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and is licensed to practice in New York State. She practices inpatient cardiology for the Heart Center at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

I am passionate about my career. I keep up-to-date with advancing medicine. I sincerely care about my patients' well-being and treat everyone with respect.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
My patients should expect me to provide informed medical information and professional suggestions. I expect my patients to elaborate on which aspects of their care are important to them and to be active in their care. Together, we can make informed decisions to optimize their cardiovascular health and improve their quality of life.

How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
Locally, I enjoy hiking in the beautiful Hudson Valley and appreciating nature. I also like to travel and experience different cultures around the world.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Cardiology is important to everyone and is a field that is always growing. Its greatest reward is that good cardiovascular health will lead to long-term health benefits which can span a lifetime.
