How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I spend my personal time going for walks, reading and listening to music. I enjoy spending time with friends and family and traveling.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I have an appreciation for the art of advanced practice nursing. It encompasses the entire well-being of patients. Becoming an adult gerontology nurse practitioner has allowed me the opportunity to address the community's need for taking care of an aging population. I find it rewarding to help others and make a positive impact on their health.
