Tammie Carey, FNP brings over a decade of neonatal experience both as a nurse and respiratory therapist. Currently, Tammie serves as a Pediatric Hospitalist, with a focus on newborn care. In this role, Tammie provides comprehensive medical management for infants, partnering with families to guide them through the early days of their newborn’s life. Tammie bridges the gap between technical expertise and compassionate care. Her dual background in respiratory therapy and advanced nursing enables a well-rounded interdisciplinary approach to patient care.

Gardening, caring for my many animals, reading, spending time with my family

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
Childhood illness inspired me to pursue a career in the medical field. The greatest reward is empowering others to take part in their health journey and witnessing the outcome, seeing the growth.
