Tara Krishnasastry has been a surgical physician Assistant for 12 years. Her credentials include specialized cardiac physician assistant certification. She has worked in several areas of cardiac medicine including electrophysiology and cardiac surgery. Her experience includes critical care coverage of all forms of cardiac diseases with focused attention to procedural interventions and procedural follow-up. She has many years of direct intraoperative surgical experience with a primary focus on cardiothoracic surgery. This experience includes; first assistance in various cardiac and thoracic surgeries including; CABG, Aortic Valve Replacement, Mitral Valve Repair/replacement, Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Heart Transplant Harvest, Lobectomy, Wedge Resection and Decortication.
