Get To Know Me

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
In my practice, I bring a compassionate approach and take the time to explain what’s happening, listen to concerns, and partner with patients and families so they feel supported and informed throughout their care.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
My patients can expect clear communication, attentive listening, and a commitment to safe, high-quality, compassionate care. From my patients, I ask for openness and honesty about their symptoms, goals, and concerns so we can make the best decisions together.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors, skiing, cycling, strength training, and staying active. I also value time with friends and family and traveling.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose robotic and general surgery because after years of bedside work in the ICU, step-down, and on the floors, I wanted to be more hands-on with procedures and involved in the OR. I find it very rewarding to be able to directly contribute to a patient’s recovery in a meaningful and tangible way.
