About Todd J. Everett

Professional Statement

Dr. Todd Everett has been a member of the Danbury Hospital Interventional Radiology department since 2011 and has served in the same role at Norwalk Hospital since 2021. He is board certified in Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology, with 25 years of experience in the field. Dr. Everett was the medical director of Interventional Radiology from 2016 to 2025, as well as the medical director of Nuclear Medicine from 2014 to 2025. His practice encompasses the entire scope of Interventional Radiology, including Interventional Oncology procedures such as tumor embolization and ablation, venous access, IVC filter placement and retrieval, pulmonary embolectomy, and gastrointestinal interventions such as gastrostomy placement and TIPS procedures. He is an authorized user of Y90 for liver tumor radiotherapy. Recently, Dr. Everett served as the principal investigator in a multi-center trial evaluating a novel embolic agent. In addition to his work in interventional radiology, he has consistently contributed to breast imaging and interventional procedures throughout his career.

Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
As an interventional and diagnostic radiologist, I am able to integrate a patient’s clinical condition and their imaging findings to help guide and personalize their care.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Compassion and the ability to explain to patients sometimes complicated procedures and results in terms that they can fully understand.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
I enjoy running, dining, family time including a dog and 2 cats, college Softball and being a lifelong devoted fan of the New York Mets.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
An ability to understand the entire person as imaging cuts across almost all specialties with patients of all ages.
