Get To Know Me
Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I take the responsibility of being someone's doctor very seriously and will do everything possible in each encounter to ensure the patient is getting exceptional care. I approach each patient with respect, patience, and empathy.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
I approach each patient with respect, patience, empathy, and compassion. If you are in the ED, you are likely having a bad day, and we want to help in any way we can. I expect patients to be honest and open and share their thoughts without reservation.
How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
Outside of the Emergency Department I enjoy staying active whether it’s golfing, running, or hiking. I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends and exploring local downtowns and restaurants.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I was drawn to Emergency Medicine for its fast-paced variety of patient presentations, and our ability as ED doctors to think quickly on our feet and treat/stabilize numerous conditions.
