Zelina Jones, FNP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who graduated from Mount St. Mary College. She has served as a Hospitalist/Nocturnist at Garnet Medical Center in Middletown, NY for the past eight years. In her role, Jones conducts thorough assessments, orders diagnostic tests, and manages treatment plans for individuals with a wide range of medical needs, including serious injuries, recent surgeries, and diagnosed diseases. For the past two years, she has served as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the Intensive Care Unit at New York Presbyterian (Lawrence Hospital), where she specialized in providing advanced clinical care, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and performs critical procedures.

I chose acute and critical care because I am deeply committed to providing advanced, specialized care to patients during their most vulnerable times. The fast-paced and dynamic nature of this field, along with the opportunity to make crucial decisions that directly affect patient outcomes, inspires and motivates me every day.
