Professional Statement
I am dedicated to providing compassionate care for preterm infants and neonates and am committed to delivering the highest standard of care. My journey into neonatology was inspired by a desire to make a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable patient, newborns. My philosophy of care revolves around excellent communication, ensuring that all members of the medical team, including parents, are well-informed and involved in the care process. I always strive to create a nurturing and collaborative atmosphere in the NICU.
Get To Know Me
Why should someone choose you to care for their health?
I specialize in treating a wide range of conditions in the NICU, including congenital defects, breathing problems, infections, cardiac anomalies, and jaundice. With extensive training and years of experience, I am well-equipped to handle the complexities of neonatal care and am passionate about fostering strong partnerships with my patients and their families.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Throughout my career, I have focused on proactive healthcare engagement, emphasizing the importance of excellent communication and teamwork. My strengths lie in my interpersonal skills and my ability to work effectively within a team environment, ensuring a positive and supportive experience for both patients and their families. My commitment to patient engagement and responsiveness is at the core of my practice, and I strive to create a nurturing and collaborative atmosphere in the NICU.
How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
My hobbies include playing tennis, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my family.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
My path towards neonatology was inspired by a desire to make a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable patients—newborns. My passion for this field was further solidified during my residency and fellowship training, where I witnessed firsthand the impact of compassionate and skilled care on the outcomes of critically ill infants. The greatest rewards are witnessing the infants going home and watching them grow up in the follow up clinics.
