Get To Know Me
I utilize evidence-based medicine to individualize treatment plans for my patient’s needs.
What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Once a patient establishes care with me, they should know from that point on I will be there to support and guide them through their gastroenterological journey.
How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I love to spend time with my husband, two kids, my parents and brother. I also enjoy traveling abroad.
Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose gastroenterology because I enjoy developing close relationships with my patients and being able to do procedures to get immediate answers for their digestive issues.

D. Suma gave me an easy to understand assessment of my problem, outlining tests to decipher what I am facing, and a plan for following through. She was courteous and upbeat, and I felt much better emotionally after I met her. She gave me confidence that my condition can be remedied, at least somewhat.
