Aaliyah Sayeed, MBBS, Resident Physician

Caring for families through every stage of life is central to Dr. Sayeed's practice—from welcoming newborns to supporting seniors, promoting independence and wellness, and addressing women's health needs. She believes that outstanding primary care begins with listening, understanding each person's priorities, and partnering with them to achieve their health goals.

She is particularly passionate about preventive care and is committed to helping patients make informed decisions based on the latest medical evidence. Her aim is to foster a welcoming environment where every patient feels heard, supported, and guided toward lasting well-being for themselves and their loved ones.

Dr. Sayeed completed medical school in India at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute and is currently in her third and final year of residency at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell Family Medicine Residency Program at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck. She recently relocated to Hudson Valley for her residency and is deeply grateful to live in such a beautiful part of New York.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Patients can expect listening, honesty, and evidence‑based guidance. I ask for open communication and partnership so we can work together toward their health goals.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you are not caring for patients?
In my spare time, I love baking and visiting the local farms.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose primary care to care for whole families over time. The greatest reward is seeing patients grow healthier and more confident in their care.
