Adam B. Gorelick, MD

Dr. Adam Gorelick is a gastroenterologist who is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). His clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), disorders of the pancreas and biliary tree, and gastrointestinal malignancies. He obtained his medical degree from NYU and completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Michigan. Dr. Gorelick is actively involved in clinical research, serving as the local Principal Investigator for national studies regarding inflammatory bowel disease. He looks forward to building strong and lasting relationships with his patients while providing comprehensive gastrointestinal care. Originally from the area, Dr. Gorelick enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

Trust and honesty is the most important thing in a physician/patient relationship. This allows me to provide patients with personalized, excellent care.

How do you spend your personal time when you're not caring for patients?
I enjoy golfing, traveling and spending time with my family and friends.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I chose gastroenterology because I enjoy the pathophysiology of the disease processes and the procedural aspects of the specialty. I look forward to to helping patients resolve their GI symptoms.
