Caitlin Ferguson, PA, is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a licensed practitioner in both New York and Connecticut. She earned her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Touro University in Manhattan, NY. Caitlin started her career specializing in Emergency Medicine nearly 10 years ago and developed an interest in Gastroenterology. She has been with Gastroenterology since 2020.

I have vast experience approaching healthcare from both the inpatient and outpatient settings that can be tailored to the individual patient's needs.

What is the most important thing your patients should expect from their professional relationship with you? What do you expect from them?
Patients can expect mutual trust, prompt follow through and open communication. In return, I expect and appreciate punctuality.

How do you spend your valuable personal time when you’re not caring for patients?
I value every free moment with my dogs, family and exercising my own health.

Why did you choose your specialty and what is its greatest reward?
I value the field of gastroenterology as it encompasses a variety of health conditions, both acute and chronic, and allows me to involve other great specialists to provide the most well-rounded care for the patient.
